Fishing is a popular outdoor activity, which many people want to enjoy especially on weekends. Fishing is usually a family event but in cases of sports fishing, then it can be a group activity, or in case of family joining the event, this usually involves several members of the family who have the inclination to fishing.

If you want to go fishing, you may want to know the types of fishing lures that will help you catch as much fish as you want.

Lures now come in different forms and sizes. While there is this diversity, in some cases, fishes have already learned to recognize a fishing lure and can therefore avoid them. This is the reason why there are many different types of fishing lures in today’s fishing industry.

Let us now move on to the types of fishing lures and the effectiveness they have in a leisure activity or sporting activity.

*Will you be using the fish finder on a boat or from a shoreline or dock? There are literally 100s of fish finders to choose from, and you do not want to spend money on one that you will not get your use out of. Fish finders can be mounted to large boats that will be out in deep waters, or smaller boats for lakes and rivers. The boat mounted fish finders are very handy if you are not familiar with body of water you are fishing. The depth finders can let you know when you are getting to close to the shore. There are also a number of fish finders that are great for shoreline fishing.

*When you have decided where you will be fishing most often, you now need to consider the cost. Some of the portable fish finders start around $75. These can be hand held or attached to a fishing pole. The fish finding equipment that attach to boats have a lot of different extras. The boat mounted fish finders typically start around $150 for a basic model.

*Now you know your price range and a general idea of what kind of fish finder you want to use, it is time to consider the extras. Several fish finders come with GPS, which is great for an area you are not familiar with. These are also very handy if you are doing any kind of ocean fishing. Some are even equipped with digital displays making them easier to read.

Fall fishing can be a great time to catch some good quality bass. So don’t waste the opportunity, take your son or your daughter with you, take the whole family, and get on the lake and see how much fun it is to catch bass in the fall, because fall fishing can be some of the best fishing of the entire year in our East Texas lakes

Many More Videos at FishingNosara.com

It should come as no suprise that FishingNosara is the gold standard for Fishing in Costa Rica. Check out the Fishing Techniques our captains utilize FishingNosara and to see the pictures of all these great catches. These are just some of the great catches you can read about in FishingNosara’s Fishing Report from Costa Rica:

January 2010

Captain Vibert had client Michael Zito on board for a half-day fishing on January 12th. The Master Captain negotiated very strong offshore winds and showed the consistency that has made him a local legend. Despite the weather, Captain Vibert still delivered for his clients: Two 30lbs. Dorados and a nice 15lbs. Yellowfin tuna.

With the Marlin Bite in full force, client Linda booked the Wanderer on January 15th and was at the reel for a double Marlin release: A 200lbs. Black Marlin and a 250lbs. Blue Marlin! She went looking for the grand slam, but was satisfied enough with the two big boys and a 20lbs. Dorado. It was a great day for the boat, client, and crew!

February 2010

On the 1st of February client Terry Schwartz booked the Nice n’ Tight for a quick 3 hour trip. Captain Eduardo expertly put him right on a nice tuna bite, and in virtually no time at all Terry had boated two outstanding Yellowfin Tuna ranging from 10-12 lbs. These babies made for some delicious eating! For several years now the Nice n’ Tight has been the gold standard for under-25′ boats in Garza, and it appears that reputation is safely intact

James Anderson was aboard the Caboon February 13th for a three-hour sunset cruise. In just a short time he caught a meaty 12lbs. Black Tuna…not bad at all!

February 6th was a day for the staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals to have some fun out on the water. General Manager Javier Hernandez, transporter Comi, and NPR Concierge Numero Uno Manuel took a sunset cruise on the Wanderer and hauled in a whole mess of fish, included a baby Cuberra Snapper…they returned the little fella to the blue water, but even as a youth it fought like a tiger. It’s great to see our wonderful staff have a great day out on the water!

March 2010

The Nice n’ Tight did track down some Black Tunas for clients Carl and John on March 3rd and 6th respectively. The Bite turned on in a big way on March 7th for client John Mysak. He fished five straight days with Captain Eduardo on the Nice n’ Tight and it seems clear that the fish still don’t know what hit ‘em. The best day was the first with a 100+lbs. Sailfish release, a nice White Tuna and a tasty Yellowfin…and that was before lunch! Once they got out to the deep water in the early afternoon the spread was attacked by a 200+lbs. Blue Marlin! Mr. Mysak fought him all the way, never gave up, and set-up the crew to successfully live release the big blue monster. Perfect teamwork, perfect fish.

John followed up with another strong performance on March 8th catching a nice Amberjack, a 40lbs. Wahoo, and releasing another glorious 100+lbs. Sailfish. Over his final three days he also put a 45lbs. Dorado in the fishbox and lost a few 50lbs. Yellowfin Tunas. Captain Eduardo and the crew did and excellent job of keeping the client on fish and live releasing all the great billfish catches.

Jonathan Temple and his party had a fantastic 3/4 day on the Wanderer on February 27th with lots of good bites and nice fish. The action started fast with six Yellowfin tuna in the fishbox before Noon. Then they caught a 35lbs. Cuberra Snapper and a feisty little Yellowtail snapper. Mr. Temple is a Jacksonville resident, and like all our Northeast Florida guests he knows what to do when the rods start bending. The whole party had a great time and did some great work on the reef!

April 2010

Client Bob went fishing on the Nice n’ Tight on April 9th and had a very respectable showing catching a 12lbs. Pompano, a tough little needlefish, and a nice Black tuna. Captain Eduardo brought out the big gun for a three day booking with client Stiff from April 10th to the 12th. The first day on theSportsman was highlighted by a whopping 50lbs. Dorado. Things got even better the next day when they released a 100+lbs. Sailfish. On the final day then caught and released a 30lbs. Rooster fish. With a man like Captain Eduardo at the helm, you can have these kind of multi-species days, or hammer on tuna all day long. Bottom line is this man catches fish!

Recently client David Laudon had an incredible half-day trip. In a short time they had boated 10 triggerfish and a nice jack. Captain Vibert knows these inshore reef like none other and is always ready to bring in this kind of solid action!

On March 26th Manuel (Concierge Numero Uno at Nosara Paradise Rentals) and I released a Black marlin, one Sailfish and lost a nice dorado. The marlin was going absolutely crazy, moving from one teaser to the other one and spanking it with his bill. One of the teasers broke clean off of the line. I spent 42 minutes to release this fish, albeit with a few water breaks. This marked the beginning of some great billfish action on the Wanderer in March and April.

May 2010

Captain Eduardo has been fishing like a madman in the last month, and he has theNice n’ Tight back on top of the leaderboard. He’s had a great mix of sunset cruises, nature tours, and flat-out billfish hunting…the common thread? Lots and lots of smiling clients. On April 19th Captain Eduardo welcomed Jacksonville client Van Evans and his girlfriend for the first of two days fishing. Van owns a great little seafood restaurant in Florida and is no stranger to some great looking fish. Their first sunset cruise netted them a nice macarella and a ponpano. A few days later they had another awesome sunset cruise catching a delightful white tuna and a beautiful amberjack.

That same morning clients Crissy, Rich, and Robert caught five nice white tunas in just a few hours fishing. Captain Eduardo knows how to stay on the fish, evidenced by two trips on the same day catching the same species fish. His experience on these waters give him the competitive edge.

Captain Eduardo stayed busy with another booking on April 26th with clients Bruce and Dwyane. The rods were bending all day long and the boys came home with a 12lbs. yellowfin tuna, a 15lbs dorado and several black tunas. Great action all day long is what the Nice n’ Tight is all about.

On April 26th clients Dwayne and Katrina fishing for a half-day on the reefs. They applied our FishingNosara Cuberra Tactic and caught a beautiful 30lbs. Cuberra snapper. They rounded out their day with four sweet whites tunas. The next day client David Caywood went hunting for the big boys.

Unfortunately they didn’t get so big by being easily caught and despite raising up a Sail and a big-time Marlin they couldn’t get ‘em hooked up and to the boat. Client Daniel Fero also had an action packed day on May 4th, albeit with limited results. He got some dinner in the form of a big Yellowfin tuna, but lost a pair a Cadillac-sized snappers on the bottom. Likewise for client Bobby Leesman on May 10th, who fished a full day on came away with a 30lbs. Yellowfin tuna. He also has action throughout the day, but the fish were tough to catch.

June 2010

Captain Vibert welcomed client Fredrick Porcase, his son and Chase Crews out for two action packed days. These clients had spent three days on the Wanderer chasing down billfish, yet chose the Master Captain for their assault on the reefs.

The Cabo did not disappoint! On June 14th the group caught twenty 15-20lbs. Yellowfin tunas and a pair of 12lbs. Yellowtail snappers in the morning. In the afternoon they caught two amazing 40lbs. Rooster fish and a 25lbs. Cuberra Snapper. Then on June 15th the party caught another 40lbs. Rooster fish, four 15lbs. Yellowfin Tunas, and two MASSIVE 50lbs. Amberjacks.

The highlight of Captain Eduardo’s month came on May 18th client Michael Coleman and his wife caught a released a HUGE Blue Marlin. It was the first lifetime Marlin catch for both of these clients; once again FishingNosara delivers the fish of a lifetime via the hardest-working man in Garza: Captain Eduardo Carillo.

Jacksonville angler Dennis Dahlquist also had a 300+lbs Marlin release on a late-May trip on the Wanderer; As usual Captain William was on top of his game. I was joined by fellow Jacksonville angler Ray Carter and the lovely Georgia peach Paula Price for a great trip on theWanderer on May 30th. The weather was just about as perfect as could be imagined and the party had a fantastic array of catches.

In total we caught a mean little 20lbs. Wahoo, a 30lbs. Amberjack, a 35lbs. Cuberra snapper and two 12lbs. Yellowfin tuna. The highlight of the trip was a pair of 100+lbs. Sailfish releases. Paula showed her skills on the reel as both fights were under ten minutes and both fish were released.

In June 14th Bryan Russo and his party got on three very nice Yellowfin tunas, and were chowing down on fresh sushi when a 120lbs. Sailfish ripped through the spread. A ten minute fight ensued and the crew safely released the monster fish.

There are some popular misconceptions about sexless marriages. Their seems to be a popular school of thought that men want sex more then women. This is not true, as in fact there are more women that complain of a sexless marriage than there are men. When it comes to sexless marriages a lot of people think that it is a problem that comes with age. Again, this is a falsity. Sexless marriages happen in relationships where the couples are in thier twenties or thirties. You are not alone as a younger person in a sexless marriage, so do not feel that there is somthing wrong with you.

There are some facts you need to know if you are to survive a marriage without sex. A sexless marriage is a marriage that is utterly void of any sex. Not even once every three months, none whatsoever. This is when you realize that your relationship has a serious problem. Comparing sexless marriage with infrequent sex marriage is like comparing apples with oranges, they are not the same.

To think that you are the only person in a marriage without sex is absurd. Every day more and more people end up finding themselves in a sexless marriage. But do not despair as the number of people saving their marriages is also growing, as couples fix their issues.

A person in a sexless marriage and trying to survive it needs to know that they do not have to feel quilty or ashamed of being in this situation. You have a problem with your relationship that is not unique, and one you can do something about.

What you must try to avoid is being selfish, and only thinking of yourself. You could be incorrectly blaming your partner for all this, because you are hurting. The truth is that the difficulty lies deep within the relationship, and that you both are feeling the same way. Be tactful when approaching the concern and work out how you can deal with it.

If you have tried talking about it and thing are not getting any better, then you may need some professional advice. You can’t always have all the answers to your problems, so it is a good idea to sometimes get another opinion. A professionaly trained sex counselor can help you find out why you are in a sexless marriage. A good place to start is by asking your regular GP for help. Tell him that you have a problem and you need a recommendation for a good sex therapist, and he can put you onto one.

Psychological Clinicals

Psychology is the most popular field in nursing and very rewarding. A psychiatric nurse devotes their time caring for people who suffer from mental illness. They work with groups, individuals, whole families and communities who have psychiatric problems and disorders, such as depressions, bipolar disorder, psychosis or schizophrenia, dementia. Some places one might find a psychiatric registered nurse may be a long-term care facility, health departments, and hospitals.

During clinicals you will learn how to develop a nursing care plan, manage a therapeutic enviornment, help patients regain and improve coping skills, assess the mental health needs of individuals, administer and monitoring treatment regiments, assist patients with self-care daily activities and crisis intervention and counseling. Depending on what type of nursing program you are in (A.S or BSN), depends on what type of assignments you will have to do. Usually a Process Recording or Mental Assessment will be done. These are usually about 7-20 pages long.

Process Recording Requirements

Physical and psychosocial description of patient

Anticipate and Identify Factors that may Influence the Communication Process with this Particular Patient

Objectives and Limitations for Interaction: Nurse and Patient

Nurse’s Thoughts and Feelings Prior to Interaction and Description of Physical Setting

Applying theory to practice

Critique of Communication Process

Assessment Requirements

Psychiatric history

Medical history

Social history

Family health history

Response to the usual situations in life

Developmental history

Drug History

Potential for harm to self or others

Most of the time you will assigned only one patient per clinical day. Before going to psychiatric clinicals, you should review how to perform a mental status examination. A mental status examination uses your observation and questions to evaluate factors of mental function, including speech, emotional expression, thinking and perception, and cognitive function.

Most of the time, your lecture will coincide with what clinicals you are attending. During class, your professor should be going over drug classifications. By the end of the semester you should be familiar with psychiatric drugs classifications. These will be drugs that will be seen throughout your nursing career. Here is a list of most prescribed medications you will see during psychiatric clinicals and you will probably be quizzed on this in your class.

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRIs)

Celexa (citalopram)

Lexapro (escitalopram oxalate)

Luvox (fluvoxamine)

Paxil (paroxetine)

Prozac (fluoxetine)

Zoloft (sertraline)

Serotonin Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs)

Cymbalta (duloxetine)

Effexor (venlafaxine)

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine)

Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs)

Nardil (phenelzine)

Parnate (tranylcypromine)

Tricyclics

Adapin (doxepin)

Anafranil (clomipramine)

Elavil (amitriptyline)

Endep (amitriptyline)

Ludiomil (maprotiline)

Norpramin (desipramine)

Pamelor (nortryptyline)

Pertofrane (desipramine)

Sinequan (doxepin)

Surmontil (trimipramine)

Tofranil (imipramine)

Vivactil (protriptyline)

Others

Buspar (buspirone)

Desyrel (trazodone)

Edronax, Vestra (reboxetine)

Remeron (mirtazapine)

Serzone ( nefazodone)

Wellbutrin (bupropion)

VISIT MY WEBSITE AT WWW.NURSINGSCHOOLGURU.COM!

Know these entire drug classes, side effects, adult dosages, and teaching for these medications. When you get to whatever type of psychiatric facility the school sends you to, just take a deep breath and open you mind. Don’t be afraid of what is different from what you are used to seeing on a daily basis. You will come into contact with psychiatric patients in some form or another no matter what field you choose to specialize.

Do you believe in the after life~Do you believe in life after death}~Do you believe in life after death}? Do you think there is a heaven? Would you say that you are a religious person? Within this article I will be writing about an experience with a client that would change the way that I thought and believed in spiritually – it was something that I will never forget and something that I therefore have decided to share with other people.

The strange experience was with a client who attended one of the speech courses that I hold in Birmingham. He happened to be the oldest person who has attended one of these courses, he was aged eighty-two at the time. I must say that I was very shocked that someone of this age was interested in my course and was intrigued to meet him.

During the course we both got on very well and he worked very hard to overcome his speech impediment by observing and using the techniques that I was teaching him to the best of his ability. He was very happy with his progress and towards the end of the week he started to really open up with me as he gained more and more confidence.

At one stage I enquired as to why at the age of eighty-two he was still seeking a cure to his stuttering problem. I had thought that by this age he would have in a way accepted his stutter and would have given up of ever finding a stuttering solution. He replied that he had tried many different forms of stuttering treatment and even though they had not really helped him that he had another reason to keep looking for new and improved forms of stuttering therapy. This was because in his words, I know for a fact that there is an after life and I do not want to return with this horrible stutter. He could not tell me why or how he knew, this was quite frustrating for me as I was eager to know etc.

This was very interesting for me and I have since been reading quite a lot of information about the after life and am now convinced that this is not the only life we have.

Many people died or get seriously injured because of fires every year. However, these can be prevented by having fire precautions and following some fire safety tips. Fire detection devices play very important roles to help prevent and control fires.

We should not take too lightly the importance of having fire precautions and fire detection system in your homes and buildings. Fire is powerful enough to cause us loss and devastation. The only way to protect our family is through proper prevention and early fire detection.

Below are the top five safety tips that you need to keep in mind in order to handle the wrath of fire effectively.

- Install a smoke detector and fire alarm. – They can detect unusual smoke earlier before you can possibly smell or feel the flames. They will warn you immediately so you can save your home and possessions, ask for help early, or escape in time. Change the smoke detector’s batteries at least once a year.

- Have fire extinguishers and fire blankets readily available. – They will help you put out small fires easily. Just make sure that your extinguishers are regularly checked and tested by the proper authority.

- Evacuate the place when needed. – If the fire is already too large to handle, you need to get out and escape. Use your escape route plans calmly.

- Learn how to manage smoke. – To prevent much smoke inhalation, leave the burning place slithering on your belling or crawling on your knees.

- Think of your life’s safety. – When you get trapped inside a room, close the door and stuff the spaces around the door to prevent smoke from entering. If there is a window, go there and ask for help. Do not ever think of jumping off the window and end up risking your life. In case you are already outside and wanted to save someone who is trapped or you want to save your things inside the burning house, do not even think of it. Let the trained personnel to handle those things. Just stay in a safe area and wait for the authority’s advice if it is already safe to reenter the building.

Fires can strike anytime and anywhere when least expected. Without fire detection device like fire alarm, even a small mistake could turn into a major disaster. Always prioritize your family’s safety. Every room should have at least one fire exit. If your room is on the second floor, install a ladder that you can drop from the window in case of fire emergency. Most importantly, you need to stay focus and do not panic so that you can think of the proper safety tips that will keep you safe in times of troubles like this.

Preventing fire from getting worse is not possible without early fire detection. Better invest in helpful and life saving things like this rather than lost all your possessions in a matter of minutes just because you underestimated the possible damages fire could bring.
